Our Client of the Month for May 2016 is Sara Lutjemeyer.
Sara has been incredibly consistent with her training the last 6 months and has the results to prove it. Sara’s body composition has changed drastically since she started in November, dropping a whopping 5% body fat!
Sara is also achieving some big time life goals this month, as she is graduating from college with her nursing degree and becoming a Registered Nurse.
Force Barbell: Tell us a little about who you are, what you do, and why you train.
Sara Lutjemeyer: My name is Sara Lutjemeyer. I currently work in an Emergency Department as a student nurse extern as I am finishing up nursing school. I will work in the ER as a Registered Nurse this June.
I train for several reasons and it is near impossible for me to pick one motive. As a kid, I was in almost every sport, doing gymnastics and kicking a soccer ball around in the house, and wanting to be in shape. My family has an extensive history of diabetes type 2, resulting from poor diet and exercise, hypertension, and elevated cholesterol levels. I have always told myself I will not be like that and will maintain a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy the aspects of living a wholesome balanced life with weightlifting, cardio, and eating right as well as having splurges.
Not only is training a good stress reliever for me as well, but it has also allowed me to make relationships outside of work and school.
FB: What do you like to do in your free time when you aren’t working, educating yourself, or working out?
SL: In my free time I enjoy both relaxing and going on new adventures. During the summer, I look forward to going on the lake with my family and friends where we go tubing, wakeboarding, and skiing. If there is something to do outside during the warm months, I am all about it!
I also love to travel to new places, preferably somewhere warm and by a beach. However, during the winter, I enjoy snow skiing, hunting with my dad, and going to see new movies!
FB: What is your guilty pleasure?
SL: If I had to choose something locally, my guilty pleasure would be sitting in my hot tub drinking a cold beer. However, if I got to choose something out of state, then definitely sitting on the beach, laying out all day, and drinking a pina colada.
FB: How long have you been training at Force Barbell and why did you start training with us?
SL: I have been training at Force Barbell since November 2015. I originally started training here due to a few fellow co-workers who were talking to me about it. At first, I was reluctant because I have always trained on my own and it was completely different than going to club gym.
However, after about the third session, I really started to enjoy the atmosphere, the positive reinforcement and teachings, the planned workouts, and the people who were already members.
FB: How is training with us different than other gyms and how have we helped you?
SL: Force is a whole different atmosphere compared to other gyms I have been to. The coaches are wonderful in several ways because they know what they are talking about, they are positive and uplifting, and they truly care about every individual and how each workout will best fit that person’s needs.
I have seen such an incredible transformation in my entire body because every workout is designed to work the body as a whole. Also, the coaches sincerely care about posture and the techniques of lifting correctly rather than the amount of weight someone can lift.
FB: What advice do you have for somebody looking to start training?
SL: Just try it! I guarantee you will like it and you will never know if you don’t try.
Force Barbell’s Client of the Month receives their own referral code for their friends to come try us out! For each person that our COTM refers, the friend receives 25% off their 1st month. Our COTM receives 25% off their next month as well. Our way of saying thank you for being awesome!
Keep up the great work, Sara!
