As we look back 50 years from now, March 2017 will mark an incredible time in Force Barbell’s history. We have a huge announcement that includes a public announcement of my gratitude.
Four years ago, in March 2013, we had our grand opening celebration. For the past four years, we have been working diligently to provide our clients with the most elite training services in the Indianapolis area.
We are serving clients of all ages – from under 10 to 65 years and older. We are serving clients of all fitness levels – from clients taking their first steps in the fitness journey to hardcore gym junkies. Our clients have the widest variety of ability levels – from clients transitioning from rehab to everyday life, clients with adaptive needs and Special Olympians, to elite strength sport competitors, throwers, and professional athletes.
Our reputation is starting to spread through a variety of channels and our client base continues to grow, both in diversity and in numbers. There have been a lot of bumps in the road, but the journey for me has been incredibly fulfilling.
There are a number of reasons that all of this has been possible, but one of the largest reasons is the support of my incredible wife, Brittany.
For the past four years, Brittany has worked as a Dietician in the corporate healthcare system to support our family as this business venture I embarked on in 2012 got off the ground. Though it was unfulfilling work for her and the corporate healthcare culture was less than inspirational to her, she hung in there day in and day out to support the larger vision of what Force Barbell could do – provide the highest quality health, fitness, and performance opportunities to our community and beyond.
While working full time, she grew and took care of our son, Ezekiel, often by herself due to this fledgling and floundering company that I had embarked on and devoted all my time to. She has put up with me despite my irritability, frustrations, large learning curve and lack of a vacation since our honeymoon nearly 4 years ago.
Without Brittany, this dream of mine that is Force Barbell would not have been possible. I have a great deal of respect and appreciation for my wife, the mother of my son, and my best friend for the contributions that she has made to our community that has developed around this vision.
It has been a long time in the making, but Force Barbell has finally grown to the point where Brittany can quit her corporate job and follow her passion!!!
I am extremely excited, and proud to announce that today is her last day working for somebody else, and that tomorrow she will be embarking full-time in this entrepreneurial journey. Brittany will finally be able to dive full-time into her passion of providing Nutrition and Holistic Wellness services.
The Force Barbell Family and I are blessed to have Brittany’s support behind the scenes for the past four years, and am extremely excited to have her stepping into a more active role in the company moving forward.
Please join me in welcoming this incredible woman to her new role, and be on the lookout for bigger and better things to come as 2017 is going to be an incredible year for this company!
Email Brittany@ForceBarbell.com with your congratulations and to learn more about her expanded role and the newly available services.
