Join us December 16th and 17th for our third annual Charity Canned Food Drive, Merry LIFTmas Weightlifting and Powerlifting Competition.
Merry LIFTmas weekend is our way of giving thanks for all the blessings we’ve been granted. We are excited to use this opportunity to give back to the community that supports us and have fun lifting heavy with family and friends.
Merry LIFTmas is a benefit competition for the Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank. This organization helps to feed the nearly 30,000 Hamilton County residents that don’t know for sure where they will get their next meal. To help feed our neighbors, we ask that spectators bring 5 non-perishable food items or donate $10 at the door.
All non-perishable items are welcome at the food bank, but these are some items that are always in need: Peanut Butter, Canned Meats, Meals in a Can, Canned Fruit, Cereal, Mac and Cheese.
The meet weekend will be the last weekend we will be accepting food and financial donations.
This year, Merry LIFTmas Weightlifting meet on Saturday, December 16th is a sanctioned competition through USA Weightlifting. Our Merry LIFTmas Powerlifting competition on Sunday, December 17th is an unsanctioned competition.
All lifters, from beginners to elite, are welcome to compete in both competitions. Lifters competing on both days will receive a complimentary Merry LIFTmas “Super Total SUPERHERO” T-shirt.
